That gives a total of 295 PPI. However, display size is good enough for entertainment purpose. But you may find bad viewing angles when you watch movies at an awkward angle. The display technology on the Honor Play 3E is IPS LCD display. Colors look just OK, not as punchy as one would expect.

Honor Play 3E comes with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. Being a budget smartphone, Honor Play 3E surprisingly performs really good in gaming. Casual games would have no problem playing games on this phone. Games such as Temple Run 2 and Subway Surfers run absolutely smooth with little to no frame drops or lag. The phone does not heat either while playing games for long hours.

However, one can encounter problems while playing games such as PUBG, Asphalt or GTA. High graphics intensive games can run on this phone but on low graphics setting. But still, Honor Play 3E is not recommended to play large games such as PUBG. Honor Play 3E gets quite warm while playing high-end games for long hours. Honor Play 3E being a budget device comes with a 13MP back camera and a 5MP front selfie shooter. Talking about the back camera, the camera has an aperture of F1.8 which is great considering the price. However, surprisingly Honor Play 3E can shoot some really detailed pictures in natural lighting. The camera is idle for clicking pictures for various scenarios such as landscapes, and good lighting shots. Do not expect the Honor Play 3E camera to click pictures with a high amount of details in artificial and low lighting condition.

The camera tends to give out poor color saturation in artificial lighting and low lighting condition. Also, you do get additional features in the camera software such as added filters & various adjustments. Honor Play 3E has poor dynamic range and colors do not look as accurate as it should. However, I was able to get some really stunning shots outdoor. Honor Play 3E can record videos in full HD resolution and one should not expect much from the video camera. The video camera needs proper light in order to record videos with high details.

The front selfie shooter on the Honor Play 3E is good enough to click your selfies with a proper beauty mode that will enhance your picture output. The camera, however, can easily pick some soft & grainy images when not in a proper condition or unfocused. Honor Play 3E packs in a 3020mah battery & is a non-removable one. Despite not so big battery compare to the other phones, Honor Play 3E can hold up till night on a single charge. This includes some calls, Wifi always on, casual gaming, watching videos & scrolling through Instagram. When using some intense tasks such as gaming or watching movies for long, the Honor Play 3E battery area gets a little bit heated and start to decrease a little bit more than usual in percentage.

Honor Play 3E battery is also quickly chargeable, thanks to fast charging support with an appropriate charger. However, the battery did not last fair enough when mobile data was remained on.  Also, when full brightness was toggled, the phone could lose battery percent rapidly. The battery on the Honor Play 3E is good enough for casual tasks, but if you are a heavy smartphone user then I guess you need to travel with a power bank.
