OPPO Reno 2Z Performance Review – Average
The OPPO Reno 2Z smartphone comes with a mid-range processor, MediaTek MT6779 Helio P90 Chipset. The phone also comes with 8GB RAM. Now being a mid-range phone, one would expect fairly good performance from the phone and this phone does not disappoint. OPPO Reno 2Z’s performance is fast and fluid. Swiping and scrolling are fast enough to give you an experience of using a high-end smartphone. Geekbench and Antutu scores are fair enough.
However, you may encounter laggy UI at times. This is not because of the processor or the RAM, instead because of the custom OS that the company has provided. Multitasking on the OPPO Reno 2Z is good & fast. In conclusion, apps do open fast & smooth but there are some occasional lags that are fixed almost instantly. Here is a bonus tip, always kill the app after use from the multitasking tray for a smooth experience. Below are the Pros and Cons of the OPPO Reno 2Z’s Performance –

OPPO Reno 2Z Camera Review – Awesome
If you are expecting a camera that can easily output some good detailed shots, then you are pretty close. OPPO Reno 2Z comes with a camera setup of 48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP quad shooter. The back camera can easily take pictures with a high level of details and not to forget the high dynamic range which is extremely good. Day shots come out to be great while night shots are not too bad as well, you get a pretty clear picture due to f1.7 Aperture. The main camera is a little different from the other two, if you want really good pictures then make sure you click it with the main shooter. You also get a wide-angle lens which in my opinion is great to have for group photos.
The last camera on the OPPO Reno 2Z is the super zoomed in the lens, to be honest, which I am not a fan of but is great to have anyways. Camera software gets additional features such as the pro mode in which one can adjust various options according to their needs. There are plenty of in build filters to choose from. Pictures come sharp & crips with great dynamic range. OPPO Reno 2Z camera is also capable of shooting some great videos. One can easily get confused with the footage being shot with a proper camera instead. OPPO Reno 2Z can record videos up to 4K resolution plus you also get a feature to record super slow-motion video, again added benefit.
Furthermore, talking about the front shooter, the OPPO Reno 2Z comes with a 16MP popup selfie camera. You will not get disappointed with the camera at all, I have enjoyed the camera every single day. Pictures come out with really good details in good lighting conditions. However, OPPO Reno 2Z outputs soft images when taken in low light. The front camera can record videos too with plenty of details & accuracy in good lighting conditions. If you are a vlogger then probably you do not need to look any further then this because the OPPO Reno 2Z is capable of shooting really good videos plus microphone in the phone catches accurate and clear voice. Let us now look for the Pros & Cons for the OPPO Reno 2Z camera –
- Triple camera setup
- Images & Videos taken are crisp with accurate colors plus a high dynamic range
- Camera software features offer everything you need from filters to pro mode
- Good color saturation
- Excellent stability
- Sometimes software tends to over saturate the pictures, rare
- Images come soft when taken in low lighting condition
- Images can look a little bit grainy when not focused properly
