In January 2019, Mercedes-Benz is going to launch its new V- class in India. As per the company, this luxury MPV will be going to be the in the top-end of the minivan market. However, the company launched MB100 and MB140 in 1999 and R-class in 2011. However, they have discontinued the lesser demand.

The New “V”

Mercedes-Benz is having a big eye on this new V-generation class. However, they are studying the feasibility of this V-class into the Indian market. Although, the model was revealed in 2014. They think that the Indian market is striving for this high-end model. Also, the company is expecting the high-end worth of individuals.

Interiors on the Mercedes V Class

The latest V-class is been redesigned over the past years. That looks similar to the latest Mercedes design. The new V-class cabin is having a high-quality bit on and around the dashboard. Along with the latest iteration of the Mercedes Comand information system. In addition, a premium feels in the cabin with unlacquered wood and Napa leather. However, some switchgear and steering wheel is similar to the latest C and S-class sedans.

Dimensions

The length of  V-class is 5170mm with a standard variant. Which can be extended up to 5370mm. The seating capacity will be in 2 configurations: seven seaters and sic seater. Additionally, V-class will come with luxurious sleep option. Which may or may not be available in India.

Engines Option

However, only in diesel engine option will be available in India. The engine is a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine. Which can generate a power of 194hp and can transmit torque of 400Nm. While Rs 75-80 Lakh (Ex-Showroom) is the expected price.
