Lenovo has surprised the whole world as they announced their first commercial smartphone. That smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 855 SoC and 12GB of RAM. Anyway, the smartphone is named as Lenovo Z5 Pro GT. However, the chipset is based on the 7nm process to provide top performance. Also, the benchmarketing Antutu claims this smartphone to be the most powerful Android smartphone.

However, the phone is similar to the Lenovo Z5 Pro. The main difference between them is the red accent that runs down the back and around the camera lenses. Further, this will be having an affordable smartphone. Although this is an android phone, this won’t support Google services. As this smartphone will be only available in China.

Sliding Feature

The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT is a slider, a new innovation came with the all screen display. However, there is no notch and phone will slide down to reveal the front-facing camera. In terms of camera, this will be having a 16MP shooter and 8MP infrared camera for face unlock.

Lenovo Z5 Pro GT Display 

The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT will have a 6.39-inch OLED display. The resolution of the display will be 2340 x 1080. Furthermore, there will be no bezel at the top and side of the display but there is a slightly larger lip around at the bottom. However, Apple avoids this by bending the OLED display from the bottom but they are expensive and hard to do.

Lenovo Z5 Pro GT Price & More

The phone will be having a 12GB of RAM and the storage capacity will be of 512GB. However, this may be the first smartphone to be produced with Snapdragon 855. The Snapdragon 855 has 8 CPU cores with different frequency. Also, the Snapdragon 855 supports 5G via an interlinked X50 5G radio. As the Lenovo doesn’t have that thus it will be just LTE phone as 5G is not there in China. However, Lenovo will take pre-orders from 15th Jan. and the pricing will be 2698 yuan for the 6GB model and for a 12GB model it will be 4398 yuan.
